Our purpose is to advance citizenship and community development among the African Community; and to provide social, cultural, recreational and educational facilities that will improve the conditions of life for African people in the Norwich community.

Our Governance
The Centre is governed by company directors, collectively known as the Board of Trustees; who are elected at Annual General Meetings.
Our Board of Trustees is represented by a number of individuals who have knowledge of the local and national voluntary and community sector and bring a diverse mix of skills to the board. The board meets regularly to discuss the strategic direction of the organisation, financial matters, operational and human resource issues.
